Steady

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 24, 2026

Steady helps you plan a monthly budget and track habits. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

  • Account details. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture.
  • What you enter. Your currency, budget split, categories, transactions, merchants and habits, with their check-ins.
  • Technical data. A session cookie that keeps you signed in, and basic request logs (such as IP address, browser and timestamps) used to keep the service running and secure.

We do not collect payment details, bank credentials or location data.

How we use it

  • To provide Steady: show your budget, transactions and habits, and keep them in sync.
  • To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.

We do not sell your data, show ads, or use your data to train AI models.

Where it is stored

Your data is stored with Cloudflare, which hosts the app and its database. Google handles sign-in. Each provider processes data only to provide its service to us.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account exists. When you delete your account, your budgets, transactions and habits are permanently deleted. Request logs are kept for a limited time and then removed.

Your choices

  • Access and correction. You can view and edit everything you entered in the app.
  • Deletion. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account.
  • Questions. Contact us at trotelalexandre@proton.me for any request about your data.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date above. Significant changes will be shown in the app.
